Skilled Painter - Rail Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painter to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic and protective qualities of our rail infrastructure. You will be involved in a variety of projects, ensuring high standards of workmanship are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
  • Apply various types of coatings, paints, and finishes to different substrates.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Communicate progress and any issues to the site supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Painter, preferably within the rail or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in surface preparation techniques and application of protective coatings.
  • Knowledge of different paint types and their applications.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures on site.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks efficiently.
