Network Rail is seeking a qualified Fire Safety Engineer to provide technical leadership within the Health and Safety Directorate. This permanent role focuses on fire safety, management, design, and engineering across the UK's railway infrastructure. We are looking for a qualified Fire Safety Engineer with strong technical expertise and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges. You should be confident working within a complex operational environment, influencing a wide range of stakeholders, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. A proactive and innovative mindset is essential, along with the ability to analyse data to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Essential Criteria
- Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers or other recognised fire engineering professional body (e.g., SFPE).
- Degree or equivalent qualification in fire engineering (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Fire Engineering Design).
- Significant experience in fire safety at a management level.
