About the role
Greater Anglia is looking for individuals to join their talent bank for future Ticket Office Clerk roles at Liverpool Street Station. Successful applicants will be placed in the talent bank for up to six months, with potential job offers if suitable opportunities arise.
These positions may be available as static or relief roles, and can be either full-time or part-time. Static roles offer consistent shift patterns, while relief roles provide flexibility with weekly rosters issued one week in advance.
About the Role:
This role involves supporting customers by assisting them with ticket machines, guiding them on new ticketing technology like smart cards and the mobile app. You will operate in a fast-paced environment within the UK's busiest station, dealing with high footfall and a busy atmosphere.
- Greeting customers, selling tickets, and addressing inquiries with a customer service-oriented approach.
- Supporting customers using ticket machines and providing guidance on new ticketing technologies.
- Ensuring adherence to safety, security, and cash regulations.
- Utilising company systems such as Fujitsu Star and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs).
- Conducting security checks as part of the station security plan.

Key Requirements:
- Working an average of 35 hours per week, with shift-based work including early starts (from 06:15), late finishes (up to 22:30), night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Ability to arrange own transport for timely arrival.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Employment is subject to Right to Work, DBS checks, and a medical assessment where applicable.
