About the role

About the Role

The Eurostar Group operates high-speed trains across Europe and is preparing for new train arrivals in the early 2030s. To support this growth and modernization, ensuring a high level of safety, reliability, availability, and regulatory compliance for its fleets is paramount. Maintenance practices must adhere to EU Regulation 2019/779 concerning the certification of Entities in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) for railway vehicles.

The ECE B COSMOS Expert – Continental serves as the key business and IT reference for the new processes and tools being implemented within the COSMOS project for Eurostar's continental fleet. The role focuses on rolling stock engineering and maintenance reference data, contributing to the definition, deployment, and adoption of these new processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise on reference data and maintenance regimes for the continental fleet (PBA/PBKA and potentially the future Celestia fleet).
  • Monitor and steer evolutions related to engineering data, including structures, maintenance regimes, updates, and the consistency of reference data.
  • Act as the primary reference within the Rolling Stock department for the target tools of the COSMOS project concerning the creation and updating of reference data.
  • Draft new processes and procedures applicable during the various project Go-Lives and contribute to updating associated reference frameworks.
  • Organize, facilitate, and follow up on working groups with internal and external stakeholders to define new working practices, inform teams, and facilitate adoption.
  • Serve as the point of contact for SNCF Engineering for all services provided to Eurostar within the scope of the COSMOS project, and coordinate internal and external resources in line with project timelines.

  • Define and make available performance indicators for your area within the business intelligence system to be developed by Eurostar.
  • Design and deliver training for users of the new tools, including the creation of training materials and associated resources.
