Overview

Eurostar is seeking an Expert ECE C COSMOS to act as the functional and IT reference for new maintenance systems and processes. This role involves ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of their high-speed train fleets.

About the role

Eurostar is undertaking the COSMOS project to replace legacy maintenance management systems (CMMS) with a new system and processes, recently deployed by SNCF for its high-speed fleet. This project aims to ensure the high levels of safety, reliability, availability, and regulatory compliance required for operating multiple high-speed train fleets.

The Expert ECE C COSMOS will be the key functional and IT reference for these new systems and processes, covering both Continental and Cross-Channel fleets. This role is crucial for the successful implementation and adoption of the new maintenance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the reference for new ECE C processes and associated IT systems, including drafting target processes.
  • Serve as the reference for maintenance data within this scope.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SNCF stakeholders providing services for the COSMOS project.
  • Support change management by delivering training, creating materials, and ensuring operational presence during key project phases.
  • Provide expertise within the project and monitor developments related to maintenance ordering, work validation, and return to service.
  • Offer expertise within Rolling Stock on COSMOS target tools and their usage.
  • Draft new procedures for project Go Lives and support updates to reference documentation.
  • Organize, facilitate, and follow up on workshops with stakeholders to define new procedures and support adoption.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to address queries from SNCF entities regarding their contributions to the COSMOS project, adhering to project timelines.
  • Ensure expertise on maintenance data management for the Eurostar fleet within the new tools.
  • Be responsible for defining and delivering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the future reporting system.
  • Deliver training to tool users, including the development of supporting materials.
  • Ensure on-site presence during Go Lives, testing phases, and data migration.
  • Track and document actions in project management tools to keep stakeholders informed of progress.
