About the role
Eurostar operates several high-speed train fleets capable of running across multiple countries and has announced the acquisition of new trainsets expected in the early 2030s. Maintaining a fleet with high levels of safety, reliability, availability, and regulatory compliance—particularly with EU Commission Regulation 2019/779 on the certification of Entities in Charge of Maintenance (ECM)—is a major challenge.
As part of its development, the COSMOS project was launched in January 2026 to replace legacy systems with a new CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and modernized maintenance processes recently deployed by SNCF for its high-speed fleet. Several SNCF entities will contribute to the COSMOS project by delivering services on behalf of Eurostar.
The ECE B COSMOS Transmanche Expert will be the business and IT reference for the new systems to be deployed by the project for Eurostar, concerning the Transmanche fleet.
